Embroidery

  1. Is there a minimum quantity?
    • Yes, we ask for a minimum of 10pcs per order. This can consist of a mixture of garments and sizes.
  2. What size does the embroidery have to be?
    • Although we can quote for any sized embroidery, the standard size we would quote for is between 6 and 10 cms.
  3. Is embroidery going to last longer than a print?
    • Yes, embroidery will be more durable than a print in the long term.
  4. Is embroidery more expensive than printing?
    • Generally it can be more expensive when the design has a large area, and the number of stitches would be High, resulting in a long sewing time.
  5. Advantages/Disadvantages
    • Embroidery gives a smart appearance, adding style to the garment.  It is also ideal for smaller designs that have numerous colours.

Printing

  1. Why do I pay a print set up charge?
    • Sometimes this is charged as we have to make a screen and printing film for each colour.
  2. What printing methods are used?
    • We can print by using the traditional screen printing method, by heat applied transfers, and by digital water based inks.
  3. Is there a minimum quantity?
    • Yes, again we would ask for a minimum of 10 pcs per order.  We would use a different printing method to produce smaller/larger quantities.
  4. Advantages/Disadvantages
    • Ideal for larger designs which have a lot of detail.


Delivery

  1. How long will it take from ordering my goods to receiving them?
    • As soon as we receive payment we deliver your goods within 7-15 working days depending on the size of the order.
  2. Will I have to sign for the goods?
    • Yes, we will inform you the day before your goods are dispatched, and they will be delivered between 9am and 5pm. A signature will be required.
  3. What if I don’t receive part/all of my goods?
    • If you don’t receive your goods, you must inform us immediately by e-mail or phone as we will need to contact our courier service to locate the missing consignment.
  4. How much will it cost?
    • We charge carriage on orders under £200 excluding vat and this will vary depending on weight, size and destination.

Products

  1. Do you provide samples before I place my order?
    • Yes, we can provide you with plain samples before placing an order, but if they are not returned to us within 30 days of the date that they are sent we will charge at cost.
  2. Do you supply plain garments opposed to printed or embroidered?
    • Yes, we can supply plain garments and the price will depend on the quantity you require.
  3. Can I return my Garment if I have ordered the wrong size?
    • As stated in the Terms and Conditions section we will only refund or replace the garment if the mistake has been made by Actif Wear.

Payments

  1. How can I pay for my goods?
    • You can pay by Cheque,  BACS, Credit or Debit card.
  2. Do I have to pay for my goods first?
    • As stated in our Terms and Conditions section we require pre-payment for any order placed, unless the customer has an approved credit account, or has otherwise been agreed in writing by Actif Wear.
